Can Barbie save The Episcopal Church (tm)? Walter Russell Mead doesn't think so. I agree.

UPDATE: And in a related note, another Episcopal bad vestment sighting:
"While flames have been and still are successfully incorporated in vestments (as symbols of the Holy Spirit), it is most definitely not a good idea to process down the aisle looking like somebody just set fire to you."
Indeed.

UPDATE 17APR10: I think Tea Party Barbie will sell rather better than Episcopal Bishop Barbie.
