Hey Ayatollah, Leave Those Kids Alone!
An Iranian freedom video remix of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick In The Wall". Watch it all:
Pink Floyd's Roger Waters gave the band permission for this cover and lyric rewrite.
Many tips of the hat: Libertarian Republican.
UPDATE 08AUG2010: Welcome Last of the Few visitors! Have a look round. I just dusted.

Under The Bus, Or Overboard... (UPDATED)
...It's apparently all the same to Obama when it comes to tossing the Israelis:
UPDATE 12JUNE10: Team Hopenchange is denying the Obama administration is backing the UN investigation. It was just, y'know, being supported by their UN ambassador. No big deal. Nothing to see here. Hey, lets talk about Sarah Palin's tits!
Bill Kristol reports that senior Obama administration officials have been telling foreign governments that the administration intends to support an effort next week at the United Nations to set up an independent commission, under UN auspices, to investigate Israel's behavior in the Gaza flotilla incident. The UN "investigating" Israel. Yeah, like that'll be unbiased.

Does Victor Davis Hanson Have A Crystal Ball?
No, but he does have history, and he takes a look back at 1979 to see what 2011 holds. Read, learn, mark, and inwardly digest. It ain't pretty.

Going Green. In A Good Way.
The anti-government, pro-freedom "green revolution" that began in Iran last summer, and completely ignored by our current President, hasn't gone away. In fact, it's heating up again. Expect Obama to ignore it this time as well.
History does indeed repeat itself. 30 years ago another clueless Democrat did nothing while Iran collapsed into revolution. Only this time the revolution is one the American people - though not the current American Administration - can understand and support.
UPDATE: Like I said - clueless.
UPDATE: Glenn Reynolds is updating with more links.

Mullahs and Missiles.
Here's a picture that'll keep you awake at night - Some 12th Century Boys with 21st century killing technology:

Too bad it doesn't keep President Obama awake at night. I've never seen a stern warning or a UN resolution stop a missile.

I Been Noticed. Again.
By some more of Obama's new fans:

This is getting to be a trend. Can visits from Cuba, North Korea, and Venezuela be far behind?
UPDATE: If an Iranian wants to see some "red," I suggest they have a look at this. (Heed the warning...)
UPDATE: My idea about what to do with Iran hasn't changed since 1979-80, and can be summed up nicely in this song by New Orleans' own Vince Vance and the Valiants. It's the only way to get rid of the mullahs and their theocracy, as dissent is met with beatings and bullets.

Iran Update. (UPDATED)
From Flicker:

(When those headscarves start to disappear, the mullahs should start packing their bags. -ed.)
Seen at Twitter #iranelection: "140 characters is a novel when you are being shot at."
Some images of student dorms after a police raid.
Robert Fisk may actually redeem himself. For the time being, that is.
UPDATES 17JUNE09:
Iranian government Photoshopping. Are they that worried?
Will Collier says it's 1979 all over again with respect to Iran. When the headscarves disappear (see the image above), I'll believe it. I do have "My Sharona" queued on the iPod, though, just in case.
More from the BBC.
This guy should get a bloody award. Original New York Times story is here. The point:
Indeed. Double "indeed."

The request, made to a Twitter co-founder, Jack Dorsey, is yet another new-media milestone: the recognition by the United States government that an Internet blogging service that did not exist four years ago has the potential to change history in an ancient Islamic country.(emphasis mine)
Indeed. Double "indeed."
