Troll Feeding.

Someone from Baton Rouge, not surprisingly named "Anonymous", left a comment in this post calling me an idiot for not understanding how the UN is supposed to work. Like I care how the UN is supposed to work. (Though it would be nice, once a decade or so, if it did actually work.)

I know I shouldn't, but it's Sunday night and I'm bored - so I responded.

I daresay that more people in the world pay attention to the General Assembly's blabberings than the Security Council's actions (which, as far as much of the world is concerned, is dominated by fascists anyway). In that sense, even though the General Assembly doesn't have any muscle, its pronouncements have a "power" of their own.

But I will give you a hysterical - whoops, I mean reasoned, respectful rant on one topic. "Capitol" is a building, not a style of letter. Nyah nyah. Just don't read my Twitter tweets - since I often type them on a mobile phone, I eschew the use of proper capitalization. (Anonymous: "eschew" does not refer to something that you do with gumbo.)

I actually looked up the report, and I'm not sure that it is a real UN document. I mean, nowhere does it condemn Israel.

You are right re: Capitol. I am in the building trades - it was just reflexive finger-memory when typing. That, and I'm an LSU graduate - we're spelling-challlenged from the get-goe.

As for your "eschew"....

Gesundheit.

The Useless Nations is a waste of US taxpayer dollars. It is a broken organization!

Trolls are fun. They love the fact that they can hide their face behind the "Anonymous" campaign and not fess up to their silly remarks. Just goes to show you how they operated. Feeding them is even better because they go completely off point with no actual facts :-)
