Well, There's Your Problem.

When it comes to ObamaCare and that Constitution thingy, a Democrat Congressman from Illinois has an accidental bout of honesty:

Worrying about the Constitution isn't, apparently, a qualification to become a Democrat Member of Congress. Neither, it seems, is knowing the difference between the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

Hattip: The Hayride.

UPDATE: Since I have a calculator on my iPhone and a degree from LSU, let me do some math for the good Congressman. If he actually read a 2,700 page long bill three times (2,700 x 3), that is 8,100 pages. If he spent one minute per page, that would be 8,100 minutes. There are 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day. That makes (60 x 24) 1,440 minutes in a day. Which means it took the Congressman, if he read straight through, 5.625 days. (8,100 divided by 1,440)

FYI - you can read the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence in under an hour.

UPDATE 02APR10: Damage control. Which would be more believable if the good Congressman didn't keep looking at notes and saying "uh" a lot. No matter what he says now, Rep. Hare has presented his GOP challenger in a few months with a political gift that will keep on giving.
