Taking the "don't let a crisis go to waste" concept to it's inevitable, constitution-shredding conclusion, Venezuela's National Assembly gives socialist strongman Hugo Chavez the power to rule by decree for the next 18 months. And just before the new, recently elected anti-Chavez Assembly comes to office. Imagine that.
