They say we should listen to our opposition. Fair enough. So over on the sidebar I have installed a 'virtual moonbat' so you can always listen to what our Lefty friends are thinking.
Just click on RANT, and it's almost like going to HuffPo. But without the necessity of having to wash up afterwards.

I don't see why you have to listen to other sources. I mean, we all know the wise statement that balance is the enemy of truth. So why bother with the lies?
Yes, I'm kidding, and in my reading I personally try to listen to a variety of sources of different views. Heck, my reader includes religious feeds such as The Midwest Conservative (per your recommendation), Canterbury Tales from the Fringe, America Needs Fatima, and True Discernment. If all of these sources ever agree on something, I'll probably keel over in shock. But it definitely helps to know what many people are thinking, which is a good guard against groupthink and tunnel vision.
P.S. At least with Huffington's stand on "truth," you know that she isn't a Pilate.
