Story is
here. As Bishop of the Diocese of Louisiana, Charles Jenkins has been an enigmatic figure to say the least, and will likely be the last remotely orthodox Bishop we will have in my lifetime (if ever). The debates about whether Charles was overtaken by events, or just not up to them, is now moot. I wish he and Louise well in their retirement.

"living together with confusion is preferable to living apart in schism"
A false dichotomy.
The alternative to the destructive "living together with confusion" is "living together with orthodox catholic biblical Christians".
Too bad Jenkins rejected that idea. New Orleans would have benefited greatly if he had.
