Happy Bicentennial!

200 years ago today, a group of expat Americans, Scots, Englishman (including my ancestors) living in what was then known as "West Florida", started a bit of a rebellion against their titular Spanish rulers. The West Florida Rebellion, not the Louisiana Purchase, gave Baton Rouge and the parishes east to America. It also gave the world this flag:
