You Can Contain Yourself.

I remember reading about this design back in mid 2005 and being rather impressed. Post Katrina, I sketched up a concept of using pre-fab container modules for temporary housing in leiu of trailers. They are reusable, rugged, can be connected and stacked, and one can haul them to the disaster site by by ship, rail, truck, helicopter, or cargo plane. You can create other prepackaged emergency modules, like a medical clinic, a food kitchen, toilets/showers, etc., that can be quickly inserted and reused But FEMA, in their bureaucratic wisdom, had already decided to buy over-priced, formaldehyde-rich, travel trailers. Lucky us.
