Baton Rouge Fourth of July Tea Party.

We had ourselves a little party on the steps of the State Capitol, and about 1,500 showed up:

If you want to know more about the Tea Party movement in Baton Rouge, go here. And if you want to host your own "mini-Tea Party," we have info for that, too.

Good for you guys! I've noticed that the numbers for the parties are improving all over. 1000+ is truly a significant turnout.

However, y'all got a lot of catching up to do. In Dallas/Ft Worth we had 37,000. You know what they say about Texas...

Of course I don't say this to brag, just a little tease to motivate you, our next door neighbors, for the future, heh heh.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for posting about this. It's terrible how the media did not report on this as a nation-wide movement. Other smaller liberal groups have made headlines (on different issues), but this did not grab headlines? HMmmm.

Keep up the patriotism! :-)
