Team Hopenchange is either coming to political reality... or pulling a Queen Sacrifice. Reports are surfacing that they are ready to drop the "government option" in order to get ObamaCare passed. "Government option" was the main vehicle in ObamaCare for moving the US toward a Canadian-style, single-payer health care system - the ultimate dream of Obama, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Big Labor, and the rest of the hard Left.
But don't break out the champagne just yet, dear readers. We may have won this battle, but we are nowhere near winning the health care war. With hundreds of pages of ObamaCare regulations and mandates still out there, those of us who believe in individual freedom and subservient government can not rest. Not until this agenda has been defeated.
UPDATE: No, wait - they didn't mean that. The "Government Option" is on again. Geez, if Team Hopenchange can't stay on message with something that is supposedly so core to their "reform," do you really think they are up to crafting a government service that is responsible, efficient, affordable, and high-quality? Something no government in the history of Man has yet been able to do?
