Yes, But What If Fg = G (m1*m2)/(d^2) IS God?

Stephen Hawking becomes an Episcopalian. Well, in spirit, anyway:
"God may exist, but science can explain the universe without the need for a creator," Hawking told CNN's "Larry King Live" in an interview that aired Friday.

Hawking, 68, says in his book "The Grand Design" that, given the existence of gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. "Spontaneous creation," he writes, is the reason why the universe and humanity exist.

"Gravity and quantum theory cause universes to be created spontaneously out of nothing," Hawking told Larry King.

It seems that a lot of episcopalians want to become muslims so maybe Stevie wanting to become episcopalian isn't so odd after all.

But who is responsible for the existence of gravity and quantum theory?

The universe, and the vast number of possibilities that it contains, behaves as it does (to relativistic human perception) for two reasons:

1. Steven Hawking says so

and,

2. We believe him.

That is the truth of it,

BUT, what if Fg = 42?

A great point concerning '42'. Perhaps we should, like the mice, endeavor to lop off the head of one Mr. Dentarthurdent, and examine the contents therein to find out.
